Material composition:
MDF: is a man-made board made by mixing wood fibers and synthetic resins (usually urea-formaldehyde resins or phenolic resins) and compressing them under high temperature and pressure.
Hardwood: is a natural wood extracted from deciduous trees with high density and hardness.
Weight:
MDF: is heavier than hardwood, which may affect applications that require lightweight structures.
Hardwood: is lighter than MDF and is more suitable for projects that need to reduce weight.
